The last trip in England this year

Before we head off to Europe in October we need to get a re-fillable gas system fitted.  As this was going to be done in North Yorkshire we booked it for the same week we were going to a Wild Festival in Lincolnshire.  This meant extending our break to a week long, the longest trip Bailey has been on in the van.

We set off on the long drive to Autogas 2000 in Thirsk who did a brillant job installing out system

The company allowed us to stay in their carpark over night to save us having to find somewhere to stay.  While they work was being done we headed off in search of breakfast.  We found a nice lodge at Woodlands Lakes that was dog friendly.  After breakfast I took Bailey for a walk round the lakes and was amazed how many people were there fishing.

When the gas was done we headed off to Lincolnshire where we were attending a WildFestival.

The festival was being held near Coningsby and was on the River Bain.  We walked along the river into town to find a pub.  Bailey loves the water and decided to take a little dip.

In Coningsby we came across a one handed clock on the church.

Back at the festival site we relaxed during the days and watched live music in the evenings.

The atmosphere was great and the people, and dogs, we met were really nice.

Mileage – 527

Route – A1(M)

Autogas and Linconshire Wil Festival
