This has to be possibly one of the best beaches I have ever seen.\u00a0 Shame about the holiday park!\u00a0 I picked this place, Haven Holiday Park, as I thought it would be something different.\u00a0 Also as it was Donald’s birthday, we had 3 nights here where we didn’t have to move.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The Campsie was a bit run down, our pitch was between the bins and a playground and the beach about a mile walk away.\u00a0 Not a great start.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>

The tide was out when we eventually got to the beach and it was stunning.\u00a0 By morning the beach had completely disappeared under the sea<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Having a couple of days to rest we took the bikes into the town, not a great place to cycle as there are no cycle paths and it’s very hilly.  We did manage to buy a very nice piece of Fillet Steak from the local butcher which we ate for Donald’s birthday meal.  We spent the day on the beach, Donald even went for a dip, although it was very choppy with big waves breaking into the beach.<\/p>\n

The next day we abandoned the bikes and walked into town for a cream tea.  By the afternoon the tide had gone out so we walked back up the beach and investigated the caves.<\/p>\n

The weather had started to turn and our last night here we had 40mph winds and it was forecast to get worse.  We were a bit exposed on our pitch so decided to head inland for the remainder of our trip.<\/p>\n

Although the beach was fantastic we wouldn’t stay here again.  There is a campsite in town that we would try as it’s nearer the beach but the holiday park, although cheap, is not for us.   <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
